Website
The previous site was confusing to navigate, lacked impact and the images used were small and low resolution, it was clear we needed to create a more visually appealing design. We also wanted to make each service page more engaging by dynamically pulling in news and projects relevant to each. For the homepage, we opted for a high impact image covering 60% of the screen with a clear call to action linking any potential clients to Andun’s case studies. As you continue to scroll down the homepage we mix the use of their iconic green with subtle shades of grey and occasionally used full bleed images for case studies and the testimonial section.
Case studies followed a similar design process to the homepage, we used the same full bleed background image in the header but applied a filter to blur it out so we could put the intro copy over it. The main copy then slightly overlaps the header image, this was done to create the effect of it being a document. One of the more unique templates created was for the single services. The template pulls in any news that is in the same category as the name of the service, we then put in a selector field. This allowed them to pick the desired case studies they wanted to showcase for that service.
Performance Improvements
Before we launched we did some testing using Google’s own Lighthouse tools to check the before and after performance.
