Our Relationship
As you may know here at Jigowatt we’re extremely proud of our long-standing relationships with our clients. We first started working with Workz back in 2015 when we first redesigned their website. In 2017 they wanted to refresh their look and came back to us and then again in 2019.
With Workz based in Dubai, it’s not without its challenges but with regular Skype calls and our excellent project management skills the projects always run extremely smoothly.
Previously Workz took the lead by providing us designs to follow, but this time they asked us to design it from the ground up.
We retained elements from the previous design such as large images and full-width colour bands but evolved them to be more in line with current design trends. This resulted in the entire site feeling much cleaner.
One specific request was to make use of icons to help visualise what they have to offer so this was incorporated as much as possible throughout the design.

During this latest project Workz wanted to have complete control over every section of the site and to achieve this we built the site using Advanced Custom Fields. Making use of its blocks we allowed the team to pick from a set of pre-styled sections so they could build out their pages without having to worry about coding layouts themselves.
To improve upon this we introduced Elementor and our new theme framework. This would give even more control over layout and settings of their website without depending on us, which turned out to be the perfect solution for them.
After the designs were approved we built out the basic templates and layouts for the site and then handed the site over for population. We gave some WordPress training allowing creation of the remaining products without any hassle.
Performance
Making use of our platinum hosting package we were able to achieve the following scores in GT Metrix which we’re extremely proud of.
This is achieved thanks to the use of WP Rocket and WP Engine’s CDN to optimise the site to ensure the best experience for all users no matter what device they’re viewing the website on.
Our relationship with Workz just keeps getting better and is proof of how a good partnership can evolve over time and keep up with technology.
