CPRE Protect Kent

CPRE MapCPRE Protect Kent is a charity focused on protecting the county from inappropriate development, and maintaining its heritage. Protect Kent is an example of the wide range of different businesses and projects we are able to support and our ability to troubleshoot and fix pre-existing client issues.

We are proud to have been introduced via recommendation from a client of ours, who recognised our ability to help CPRE Protect Kent.

Secure Platform

In the past, Protect Kent had experienced security issues with their previous site, which was built on the Joomla platform. Jigowatt advised that a secure WordPress platform would be a better option from security, technical, and design perspectives.

The core aim of the website was to ensure that visitors understand the ethos of the charity.

Our expertise with WordPress meant that we could incorporate the charity’s content and campaigns seamlessly, resulting in a much more engaging website. Visitors are also able to use the site to donate to the charity in a simple and efficient way.

Custom Plugins

A key attribute of the design is the use of photography, which represents the rural focus of the charity, while integrated Google maps and map markers – managed by Protect Kent – highlight the county’s current campaign areas.

Here is what Jamie Weir the PR & Events Manager of CPRE Protect Kent had to say about our work.

Jigowatt have worked extremely efficiently and effectively to complete the brief we set for them in a timely manner. Their design team worked really well with our charity, answering all of our questions quickly and thoroughly and ensuring that we were well briefed on all new developments with the site. They have added real value to our online presence and allowed us to communicate our digital message in a much clearer and better manner. I am extremely pleased with the work that they put into the site design and would like to thank Andy and the rest of the team who toiled so diligently over it.
