A regular client of Jigowatt in South America needed a site from which to sell fabrics. Highly visual, the site needed to incorporate clear images of the product and have e-commerce capabilities. And we needed to overcome the language barrier.
The obvious choice of platform was WordPress, with its flexibility for the client to control the text directly. The natural e-commerce partner for the site was Jigoshop, with its free-to-use functionality to which the client could bolt additional products to match the needs of a growing enterprise.
Jigowatt aimed for a dramatic home page with the key menu at the top, above a slider of colourful images of the shop’s offering. We built in social networking links, blogging and one-click entry to the company’s newsletter. Finally, clear navigation takes the customer through to Jigoshop, with bits clear user interface and back-office stock check functionality.
