It’s interesting to look back at our time selling products on Envato.
The Envato Market sites are platforms where members buy and sell licenses for digital items and we’ve been a member for 11 years! It’s been a fantastic journey and we look forward to what our future has to hold with them.
When we first joined in 2009 we launched products like our Simple PHP Contact Form and AJAX Contact Form. At the time there wasn’t a plethora of forms available so they sold very well and whilst they have been taken down now in favour of more advanced forms they achieved lifetime sales of 4333 (Simple PHP Contact Form) and 7214 (AJAX Contact Form).
The success of these products proved the potential of the marketplace so we launched PHP Login & User Management, which is as per the description “integrating this script into your existing website you can create a private user area where visitors to your website have to be logged in to view page content”. The product was launched on the 9th July 2009 and received its most recent update on the 2nd April 2020. We’re extremely proud to say we’ve been supporting the script for over 10 years and it continues to see great sales. It’s currently at 4776 total sales and an average rating of 4.25 stars from 651 reviews.
We have sold various other products but at the end of 2014 we decided to review what we were selling and how we could improve upon them. We decided we’d reduce the number of forms we sold in favour of developing something that would stand out. Matt Kersley our senior developer created the Ultimate PHP, HTML5 and AJAX Contact Form which launched on the 13th January 2015. Demand for HTML forms these days isn’t as high as it was but it’s still made an impressive 1788 sales and generated some fantastic reviews:

A year later we launched the Bootstrap version of the form, which was developed after various requests from the community.
We have a total lifetime sales over $250,000 which puts us at Elite Author level 9. But we’ve also achieved the following badges:
