Relationships that last a lifetime

The start of a new year and of course the new decade is an ideal time for reflection and setting goals for the future.

As we enter 2020 we thought we’d take a look at some of our key clients who have been with us for 10 years – that’s right 10 years – quite an achievement in our industry.

We consider maintaining a relationship with a customer after a website build just as important as producing the site itself – if not more so. Evolving and refining structure, content and functionality is crucial to its success as a business.


We started working with Alice and her team when they were a small eCommerce start-up. Impressed with her vision of creating an online marketing place for stunning fabrics after being saddened at the loss of these stores on the high street we created her first e-commerce website. 

Brimming with gorgeous fabrics, beautiful photography and insightful blog posts you can really see why the business has grown year after year. 

Alice has wisely invested in redesigning the site twice with us to ensure it’s kept up to date and has the functionality that her customers are asking for. In the most recent build for example it was crucial to get the part-metre ordering working as this was a highly requested feature. Clothspot continue to be a dream customer for us – a clear vision for her business and grasp of what her customers need, the right mix of marketing and customer service plus investing to ensure the site is hosted securely, kept updated and fresh for the years head.

Online Ceramics

Following a similar pattern to Alice at Clothspot, Peter’s contemporary British studio pottery online business has grown spectacularly. 

A continually growing portfolio of featured potters with e-commerce functionality to purchase some exquisite items had its first website produced in 2010.

With a design refresh in early 2013 then again 3 years later, this time making the site responsive, Peter is keen to keep the site looking fresh and the user journey as smooth as possible. The latest redesign was in January 2017 and we regularly use this site as a showcase of how the perfect e-commerce store should function.

As a public affairs and communications business Cogitamus also recommends our services to his customers and we work very closely with Mark on an ongoing basis. He was our first customer to take up a retainer 7 years ago and the flexible arrangement still works well today.
