Introduction

With all Jigowatters being dog owners, we were passionate about supporting this charitable organisation and making it as successful as possible in their mission to transform their website and showcase their tireless efforts in rescuing, rehoming and caring for rejected dogs.


From an existing customer referral our brief was to use their new brand identity to revamp their website and improve the customer journey – aiming to raise awareness and encourage even more donations through various channels.

Challenges

  • Outdated Website Design:
    Dogs4 Rescue’s existing website had an outdated design, which did not effectively represent the compassionate nature of their work or engage visitors.
  • Limited Awareness and Engagement:
    Although D4R supporters are generous and engaged to a degree – the website lacked a user-friendly structure and visual elements, making it challenging to communicate the emotional impact of their rescue efforts and generate support from potential adopters and donors.
  • Inefficient Donation Processes:
    The whole process needed a re-think to maximise the completion all potential donations.

Strategies & Solutions

    Our team focused on creating a visually appealing, emotionally engaging, and user-friendly interface that reflected the compassionate nature of their work.
  • Storytelling and Visual Impact:
    We collaborated closely with Dogs4 Rescue to craft compelling stories and showcase impactful visuals that highlighted the rescue journeys of dogs in their care. By incorporating before-and-after photos, success stories, and heartwarming narratives, we aimed to evoke empathy and connect with potential adopters and supporters.
  • Various Donation and Support Processes:
    We revamped the website’s relevant sections by creating a user-friendly interface where potential supporters could browse available dogs, view their profiles and easily adopt, foster or support sanctuary dogs, or sponsor, access the online and so many other ways to help. By simplifying the process and providing clear instructions, we aimed to increase support and streamline communication with potential adopters and donors.

Results

  • Improved Website Engagement:
    Following the launch of the redesigned website, Dogs4 Rescue witnessed a significant increase in website engagement. The emotionally captivating stories, impactful visuals, and user-friendly interface resulted in a large decrease in bounce rates and an increase in time spent on the site.
  • Enhanced Awareness:
    The new site together with their superb social media activity received incredible positive feedback and a surge in donations and interest. 
  • Stage 2:
    The next feature to launch is the Dogs4Rescue lottery allowing them to further their mission of rescuing, caring for and rehoming dogs in need.
