Backing founders building the exceptional

Inmotion Ventures

InMotion is Jaguar Land Rover’s corporate venture capital arm, founded in 2016. Alongside its venture studio activity, it invests in companies shaping the future of mobility, sustainability and industrial innovation. With an established multi-year relationship in place, InMotion commissioned a website redesign with a clear focus – create a portfolio-led platform that showcases current investments and exits, while making it easier to browse by sector and understand each company’s context at a glance.

Challenges

The new site needed to balance brand presentation with practical marketing outcomes:

  • Translate a rebrand into a cohesive digital identity: The refreshed colour palette and typographic direction had to feel contemporary and consistent across a full site experience.
  • Make services easy to understand and easy to find: Reach offers a range of digital marketing services, and the navigation needed to support quick discovery without overloading users.
  • Improve search visibility without harming readability: SEO requirements needed to be built into page structures in a way that still felt natural for charity-sector audiences.
  • Create a confident, image-led experience: Visual storytelling, including video and photography, needed to be delivered in a clean layout that remained polished and legible.

The Solution

Design & Development

The redesign focused on presenting Reach’s offer clearly and professionally, with a layout that supports both first impressions and deeper exploration of services.

A mega menu was introduced to organise the digital marketing service areas, helping users navigate quickly to relevant information without relying on long, nested menus.

Website Features

Navigation and Hero Presentation

To establish immediate clarity and impact:

  • Mega menu navigation structured around core digital marketing service categories
  • A hero video to set tone and introduce the brand with stronger presence than static imagery alone
  • A clear brochure-style hierarchy that supports scanning, with considered spacing and restrained content density

SEO-Led Content Structure

Keyword research and search intent were reflected in the content layout:

  • FAQs included on every page, supporting both user reassurance and broader search coverage
  • A structured approach to headings and page sections to match how users search for charity-sector marketing support

News and Case Studies with Filtering

To improve content discoverability and encourage exploration:

  • News section designed with a clear editorial pattern – one main post supported by two smaller posts
  • Filterable categories for both news and case studies, making it easier to browse by theme and reducing reliance on pagination alone

Design Approach

The visual direction brought the rebrand to life through colour, type, and shape:

  • Fresh orange and dark blue palette used to create energy and contrast while remaining professional
  • Mixed serif and sans-serif typography, giving the site a contemporary editorial tone
  • Full-width, image-led layout to create confidence and visual rhythm
  • Angled content sections and bespoke charity-sector headers, adding distinctive structure without visual noise
  • Internal office photography from the Warmington stone barn location, grounding the brand in a real working environment and reinforcing authenticity

Results

The new Reach website delivers a strong, service-led platform aligned to the rebrand:

  • A polished brochure site that clearly presents digital marketing services for charities
  • Improved usability through structured navigation and page layout
  • SEO-driven content structure, with FAQs and categorised content supporting search visibility
  • A cohesive design system combining video, photography, angled sections, and typographic contrast to create a modern, credible presence

Conclusion

This project translated Reach’s rebrand into a confident digital platform designed to support growth in the charity sector. By combining an image-led brochure experience with practical navigation, filterable content, and SEO-informed page structures, the site now promotes services with clarity and consistency while building trust through authentic photography and a considered visual language.
